Antoine Semenyo, a forward for the Ghana Black Stars, is determined. He wants AFC Bournemouth to qualify for a European competition next season.
Bournemouth is currently 10th in the EPL standings. They drew 1-1 with Manchester United. This result puts their hopes of competing in the UEFA Conference League or UEFA Europa League at risk.
Semenyo scored in the 23rd minute. However, Rasmus Hojlund equalized in the 96th minute, denying Bournemouth a win.
In a post-game interview with Sky Sports, Semenyo said, “The teams above us can lose next week.” He believes they can move up in the standings.
He acknowledged that they have a tough game against Arsenal ahead. Still, he feels confident about their chances at the Emirates Stadium.
Semenyo added, “It’s not getting easier, but I believe in this team.”
This season has been successful for him. He has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 38 games across all competitions.
His performance has attracted interest from Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
