Eddie Nketiah: Ghana top target scores BRACE in Crystal Palace win over Wolves

Eddie Nketiah scored twice as Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton 4-2. Eberechi Eze also found the net in this match at Selhurst Park.

Palace celebrated their FA Cup win over Manchester City on Saturday. Fans were excited, even when Emmanuel Agbadou scored first for Wolves.

Nketiah quickly changed the game with two goals in five minutes. He equalized with a shot from Romain Esse's cutback. Then he scored again from Ismaila Sarr's cross.

Ben Chilwell added Palace's third goal with a free kick that deflected off Agbadou. Jorgen Strand Larsen pulled one back for Wolves with a header, making it 3-2.

Eze came off the bench to score Palace's fourth goal and secure the win. This victory gives Palace over 50 points this season, their best since 1991-92.

In other news, Eddie Nketiah may receive his first call-up to play for Ghana. He debuted for England in August 2023 but is eligible to represent Ghana.

Henry Asante Twum from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) spoke about upcoming opportunities for new players. The Black Stars will compete in the Unity Cup against Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago in 2025.

Coach Otto Addo used most regular players during recent World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar. These wins helped Ghana maintain a lead in Group I with 15 points.

Asante Twum mentioned that fresh players will be included for the Unity Cup while keeping core team members intact. Coach Addo wants to test new talent ahead of tougher matches.

Recently, Nketiah expressed interest in playing for Ghana after previously showing no desire to switch allegiance. He stated he would gladly accept an invitation from Ghana if offered.

Born in Lewisham to Ghanaian parents, Nketiah’s decision excited many fans eager for new talent on the national team.
