Elmina Sharks FC owner Paa Kwesi Nduom facing Ghana FA rap over security breach

Reports claim Ndoum pressured the referee to overturn the decision Reports claim Ndoum pressured the referee to overturn the decision

Elmina Sharks FC owner Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom faces potential sanctions following a security breach during his team’s Division One League loss to Swedru All Blacks on February 16, 2025.

He allegedly entered the pitch perimeter in violation of league rules after a penalty was awarded against his side.

Reports claim he pressured the referee to overturn the decision, threatening to make his team walk off.

Swedru All Blacks officials, including spokesperson Nathaniel Obeng, condemned his actions.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Elmina Sharks and midfielder Jay Asamoah Kola with misconduct.

This incident comes amid heightened scrutiny over football violence in Ghana, following the fatal stabbing of an Asante Kotoko fan. The GFA is expected to enforce strict measures to restore order and safety in the domestic league.
