A few weeks ago, Emmanuel Annor scored his fourth goal. This was during Nations FC's 2-0 win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

After scoring, he celebrated by removing his jersey. His shirt displayed “I Belong To Jesus.” This action violated the Ghana Football Association’s rules against religious and political messages.

As a result, Annor was fined 500 Ghana Cedis for this act. He seemed to heed coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle’s warning not to repeat it.

In Nations FC’s recent 4-1 victory over Legon Cities on May 19, Annor scored again. He tucked the ball into the bottom right corner in the 66th minute after a great run.

This time, he knelt and pointed to the sky while keeping his jersey on.

Nations FC leads the Ghana Premier League standings by just one point. They have three games left in the season.
