Liverpool head coach Arne Slot admitted that "emotions got the better of me" after being sent off in Wednesday's Merseyside derby against Everton.
Slot, 46, received a red card for confronting referee Michael Oliver following Everton’s dramatic 98th-minute equalizer in the 2-2 draw.
Liverpool disputed the late goal, believing James Tarkowski fouled Ibrahima Konaté, and questioned the extended stoppage time.
Slot, who was unable to speak post-match due to his dismissal, acknowledged he should have reacted differently.
As of now, he remains eligible to manage Liverpool against Wolves while the FA reviews the incident.
A reported two-match ban was briefly posted on the Premier League website but later retracted due to an error.
Liverpool lead the Premier League by seven points with 14 games remaining.
