England's seamers restricted New Zealand to 315-9 on Day 1 of the third Test in Hamilton.

Despite Tom Latham and Will Young's 105-run opening stand, England dominated the afternoon and evening sessions. Matthew Potts (3-75) and Gus Atkinson (3 wickets) led the charge.

New Zealand's batting was marred by soft dismissals, including captain Latham (63), Kane Williamson (44) and Young (42). Mitchell Santner's late resistance denied England a chance to bat before close.

Harry Brook's exceptional boundary catch off Matt Henry was a highlight. England, already series winners, aim for a 3-0 clean sweep, a feat only two visiting teams have achieved in New Zealand.
