Brian Brobbey, a Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, set a new Ajax record by becoming the youngest player to score in four consecutive home games since David Neres in 2018.

He achieved this milestone during Ajax’s 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League Round of 16 first-leg match at Johan Cruijff Arena.

Brobbey opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a header from Jordan Henderson’s lofted pass.

However, Frankfurt responded with an equalizer from Hugo Larsson in the 27th minute, assisted by Mario Götze.

In the second half, Ellyes Skhiri secured the win for Frankfurt with a goal set up by Ansgar Knauff.

The German side now holds a slim advantage heading into the second leg, leaving Ajax with a challenging task to advance.
