European giant “determined” to pay Nico Williams’ €60m release clause

Nico Williams was a key transfer target for Barcelona during the summer but decided to stay at Athletic Club for another season.

Barcelona remains interested in him for 2025, though he is no longer their top priority. This opens the door for other clubs, including several Premier League teams, to enter the race.

Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly "determined" to sign the 22-year-old.

PSG, facing challenges this season, especially in the Champions League, are looking to strengthen their attack. They are willing to pay Williams' €60 million release clause but convincing him to join remains a challenge.
