Everyone is worried – Ex-Ghana FA spokesman Tamimu Issah opens up on Black Stars struggles

Former GFA Communications Director Tamimu Issah has called for a holistic approach to address the Black Stars' struggles after their disappointing performance in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana, a four-time AFCON champion, failed to qualify for the tournament for the first time in 20 years, finishing bottom of Group F with three points from three draws and three losses.

Issah, speaking on Asempa FM, acknowledged the nation's collective frustration and urged patience as the team navigates this challenging period. With no international fixtures until March 2025, he emphasized the need to tackle broader systemic issues affecting the team.

Ghana will face Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, while the future of head coach Otto Addo remains undecided by the GFA's Executive Council.
