Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi has rejected claims that he is responsible for the Black Stars' poor performances.
Prophet Samuel Agyarkwah alleged that Nyantakyi spiritually tied Ghana football to the Northern Region to sabotage his successors.
Nyantakyi dismissed the accusations as baseless, emphasizing that the Black Stars belong to Ghanaians, not him.
He clarified that his tenure focused on the overall development of football, including youth, women’s, and referee programs.
He criticized self-proclaimed prophets for exploiting football for fame and reiterated that he has no intention of undermining the sport.
He urged Ghanaians to ignore the claims and focus on the future of football, noting that other football organizations have thrived after leadership transitions.
