FA Cup: Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito anticipates a tough semi-final clash against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday

Abdul Karim Zito is the interim head coach of Asante Kotoko. He expects a tough match against Berekum Chelsea. This game is part of the semi-finals in the MTN FA Cup.

The last four teams will compete this weekend for a final spot. The first semi-final features Golden Kick versus Attram de Visser Sporting Club on Saturday, May 10.

On Sunday, May 11, Asante Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea in the second semi-final.

In a pre-match interview, Coach Zito praised Berekum Chelsea's coach, Samuel Boadu. He acknowledged that the match will be challenging.

“It’s never easy,” he said. “I know what he can do as a coach.” Zito added that it has been a long time since they won this cup.

He emphasized their eagerness to win but recognized the difficulty ahead. Both semi-final matches will take place at TnA Stadium in Tarkwa this weekend.
