The Football Association (FA) is investigating new allegations against referee David Coote, who is accused of discussing giving a yellow card with a fan before and after a Championship match between Leeds and West Brom in 2019. Coote denies the allegations, calling them "false and defamatory."
He is already under investigation by the FA, PGMOL, and UEFA for separate claims about his conduct, including disparaging remarks about Jurgen Klopp and an alleged incident involving a white powder at the European Championship.
Coote, who has refereed in the Premier League since 2018, remains suspended by PGMOL and UEFA while investigations continue.
Leeds United has expressed confidence in the regulatory process but refrained from further comment.
