FIFA has confirmed the 34 training sites for the FIFA Club World Cup. These sites will be used by the 32 qualified clubs during the group stage.
The clubs come from 20 different nations. They have chosen locations in 14 states across the U.S. This ensures that the tournament's impact reaches communities beyond just match cities.
FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström expressed excitement about these training sites. He noted that they will provide first-class environments and hospitality for teams.
Grafström emphasized the connections between clubs and local communities. He looks forward to seeing bonds formed during this historic event.
The selected states include Florida (9), California (5), New Jersey (4), and others. Training sites in Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and West Virginia will also play important roles.
Major League Soccer (MLS) training centers will host several teams. Clubs like Charlotte FC and DC United are among those utilizing these facilities.
Teams will also use venue-specific training sites near match stadiums. These hubs will support teams before matches and throughout playoffs.
