Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has been granted GH¢100,000 bail with two sureties over a visa fraud case.
Inkoom is accused of taking US$4,000 from Madam Elizabeth Atarime Mboh Awuni under the false pretense of securing a USA visa for her client.
He also allegedly took US$2,000 from another complainant, Abigail Owusu, under similar pretenses.
Inkoom promised to deliver the visas within six to eight weeks but failed to do so, leading the victims to report him to the police.
Investigations revealed that Inkoom had no partner in the USA and fabricated the story to defraud the victims. He is due back in court on January 22, 2025.
