Former Black Stars player, Samuel Inkoom, granted bail over visa fraud

Former Ghana Black Stars player Samuel Inkoom has been granted bail of GHC100,000 with two sureties in a visa fraud case.

He is accused of taking $4,000 and $2,000 from two complainants under the pretense of securing U.S. visas, which he failed to deliver.

Inkoom allegedly claimed to run a travel and tour business but went into hiding after failing to fulfill his promises.

Police investigations revealed no evidence of his supposed U.S.-based partner and deemed his claims false.

A partial refund of $2,000 was made to one complainant.

Inkoom denies the allegations and will reappear in court on January 22, 2025.
