Former Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi ready for Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko move

Former Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi is open to joining Accra Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko. He stated that the terms of the deal would be important.

In an interview with Asempa Sports, Agbasi, 25, discussed his future after leaving Dreams FC. He said, “If I get a call-up from Accra Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko, I won’t hesitate—but it will depend on the deal.”

Agbasi played a key role in Dreams FC’s run to the semi-finals of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup. He recently parted ways with the club after an impressive spell. His commanding presence and quick reflexes earned him praise during domestic and continental campaigns.

His performances have attracted interest from several top-flight clubs in Ghana and beyond. Both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko are looking for experienced goalkeepers ahead of the new season.

With both clubs aiming to rebuild after disappointing seasons, Agbasi's experience could be valuable. However, he emphasized that any move must be professional and mutually beneficial.

“I’m focused on my future,” he said. “Wherever the right opportunity presents itself—locally or abroad—I’m ready to give my best.”

Agbasi’s next move will be closely watched during the upcoming transfer window as Hearts and Kotoko seek to strengthen their squads.
