Former Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu has taken a break from coaching to address health issues.
He left the club in December 2023 after 13 matches in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, following his successful role in securing Samartex's historic league victory the previous season.
Amadu plans to focus on his health and spend time with his family in the North before returning to coaching.
Samartex, struggling in the current season with only 17 points from 13 matches, is now searching for a new coach, with reports linking Bismark Kobi Mensah, former Great Olympics and Karela United coach, to the role. Assistant coach Henry Wellington will oversee the next match.
