New Black Starlets coach Stephen Frimpong Manso has vowed to analyze Ghana’s past failures to guide the team back to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after three failed qualification attempts.
Speaking to GhanaFA.org, he emphasized the need to understand and address the issues behind these setbacks.
Frimpong Manso, who previously held this role, aims to leverage his experience to correct mistakes and rebuild the team’s fortunes.
The Black Starlets, two-time U-17 AFCON champions, last competed in 2017, finishing as runners-up. However, recent eliminations, including a home defeat by Burkina Faso, have sparked concern.
Tasked with building on progress made under former coach Laryea Kingston, Frimpong Manso is determined to restore the Black Starlets as a dominant force in African football.
