Ghana Football Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong has urged support for Black Stars coach Otto Addo ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March.

Despite criticism following Ghana's failed 2025 AFCON qualification campaign, Addo is expected to lead the team against Chad and Madagascar.

Acheampong emphasized confidence in Addo and stressed the need for collective backing to ensure success, acknowledging the disappointing AFCON results.

Ghana will host Chad on March 17 before traveling to face Madagascar between March 17-25, 2025. Additional matches are scheduled for September and October 2025 against the Central African Republic and Comoros.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring 48 teams, will take place in Canada, the USA, and Mexico from June to July 2026, offering Ghana a chance to reclaim its place on the global stage.
