Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku led a delegation to the funeral of the late Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis "Nana Pooley" Frimpong, in Kumasi.
Okraku held a placard reading "Justice for Pooley," emphasizing the GFA's stance against hooliganism in football.
The delegation included GFA Vice President Mark Addo, Chief of Staff Michael Osekre, and Communications Senior Manager Patrick Akoto, highlighting the association's commitment to justice for Pooley.
Pooley was fatally stabbed during a league match between Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC on February 5, 2025, sparking discussions on matchday safety.
The GFA has since intensified efforts to enhance security at football venues and is collaborating with authorities to ensure a safer environment for fans and players alike. citeturn0search11
