GFA and KGL renew Black Stars partnership in GH₵20m deal

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has signed a new sponsorship deal.

This two-year deal is worth 20 million Ghana cedis for the Black Stars.

It follows the previous GH₵14m deal that lasted four years.

The new contract will run until 2027.

At the KGL head office in Accra, Alex Apau Dadey spoke to the media. He is the Executive Chairman of KGL Group.

He expressed his happiness about renewing the partnership.

“I was glad that this came up for renewal,” he said.

Dadey discussed the timing with the Minister and GFA President.

He assured support for the Sports Ministry's leadership.

“The Minister reminded us of our corporate responsibility,” he added.

Kurt Okraku, GFA President, also spoke at this event.

This was his first media appearance since becoming CAF Second Vice President.

He thanked KGL Group for their ongoing support.

“We appreciate your commitment to Ghana football,” Okraku said.

He believes their investment will benefit both the national team and football overall.

Okraku promised to ensure proper use of these resources.
