The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a one-week break in all football competitions to allow participants to vote in the December 7, 2024, General Elections.
The pause includes the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
Matches, such as the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 and others scheduled for this weekend, will proceed as planned before the break. Football activities will resume on December 13, 2024, as per the GFA’s calendar.
The association reminds clubs and officials of the planned pause and urges all Ghanaians to participate peacefully in the elections, wishing the nation a successful and orderly process.
