GFA boss Simeon-Okraku steps down as WAFU B President  …receives plaudits from Sports Ministry, SWAG, others over appointment as 2nd CAF Veep

Mr. Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has resigned as WAFU B President.

He made this decision after being appointed 2nd Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

In a statement, he explained that he needs to focus on his new role.

Okraku mentioned that balancing all three roles is challenging due to their workload.

He plans to start the handover process for WAFU Zone B soon.

He expressed confidence that a new leader will continue the good work.

This includes maintaining peace and building unity in the region.
