Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and Black Stars Vice Chairman Stephen Appiah visited injured defender Alidu Seidu as part of the FA’s support efforts.

The Stade Rennes right-back suffered an ACL injury during a Ligue 1 match against Lille and has been ruled out for the season.

Seidu underwent successful surgery in December and is currently recovering. Since his debut in 2022, he has earned 20 caps and scored one goal for Ghana.

Due to his injury, he will miss Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March.
