GFA President Kurt Okraku will visit Asante Kotoko today at 13:00 GMT to discuss security improvements following the tragic death of fan Nana Pooley, who was fatally stabbed during Kotoko’s match against Nsoatreman FC.
This meeting follows earlier discussions between the GFA, Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak, where both clubs demanded enhanced security at league venues.
Okraku aims to address Kotoko’s specific concerns and reinforce safety measures.
The Ghana Premier League remains suspended, and Kotoko has stated they will only resume competitive football once justice is served.
Their FA Cup Round of 16 match against Sekondi Eleven Wise has been postponed. Meanwhile, the club resumed training on Wednesday with 19 players at Adako Jachie.
