GFA charges 45 Division One League clubs for failing to organise pre-match interviews

The Ghana Football Association has charged 45 Division One League clubs.

They failed to hold pre-match press conferences before their weekend games.

These clubs breached Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Division One League Regulations.

They also violated the GFA Pre-Match Directives.

All clubs missed pressers before their matchday 22 fixtures in all zones.

The GFA stated that this misconduct harms the reputation of the game.

The clubs must respond to the charges by April 8.

In addition, 10 Women's Premier League clubs have been charged for similar reasons.

The charged teams include Hasaacas Ladies, Police Ladies, and Faith Ladies.

Other teams are Northern Ladies, Supreme Ladies, and Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies.

Prison Ladies, Jonina Ladies, Army Ladies, and Halifax Queens are also included.

These clubs also have until April 8 to respond to their charges.
