The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has imposed a fine and suspension on Papa Kwesi Ndoum, the owner of Elmina Sharks, due to his misconduct during a league match against Accra Hearts of Oak. The incident occurred when Ndoum confronted match officials after the game, expressing his dissatisfaction with their decisions. His actions were deemed inappropriate and in violation of GFA regulations.
As a result, Ndoum has been fined GHS 5,000 and suspended for three matches from all football-related activities. The GFA emphasized that such behavior undermines the integrity of the sport and will not be tolerated. This decision reflects the association's commitment to maintaining discipline within Ghanaian football and ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to established rules and standards.
