Elmina Sharks owner, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has blamed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the recent hooliganism in Ghanaian football.
His remarks follow the murder of Asante Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong during a league match and subsequent violence in a Division One game involving Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks.
Dr. Nduom dismissed claims that his team’s fans were responsible, arguing that the GFA should ensure safety, fair officiating, and proper funding for referees.
He criticized the association for mismanaging FIFA funds and failing to create a secure and entertaining football environment.
In response to growing concerns, the GFA has implemented enhanced matchday and security protocols in Division One League games to prevent further incidents.
