The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that it owes Otto Addo four months of unpaid salaries.
GFA Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, acknowledged the debt and revealed that discussions with the Sports Ministry are ongoing to secure payment.
Asante Twum mentioned that Otto Addo is aware of the financial challenges in obtaining government funds, but efforts to settle the arrears are continuing.
Addo’s future with the Black Stars remains uncertain following their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), finishing last in Group F. Addo, reappointed in March 2024 on a three-year contract, earns a monthly salary of $50,000.
