GFA pays courtesy call on SWAG, calls for fair and balanced reportage

On March 17, 2025, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, along with EXCO members and Regional Football Association (RFA) chairmen, visited the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

The visit aimed to strengthen the GFA's relationship with the media, especially sports journalists, and acknowledge SWAG’s role in promoting football in Ghana.

President Simeon-Okraku urged sports media to report fairly, accurately, and objectively, while supporting football development and holding the GFA accountable.

He discussed key GFA initiatives, including youth development, women's football, and infrastructure improvements.

SWAG President Kwabena Yeboah and General Secretary Charles Osei Asibey expressed their commitment to working closely with the GFA to promote the sport.
