The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has explained that the more than $260,000 received from FIFA was not designated for the upkeep of national stadiums, despite the Tamale Sports Stadium receiving some funds.
In a statement on its website titled "GFA Borehole Strategy – Facts," the GFA addressed a report by JoySports' Muftawu Nabila Abdulai, clarifying that they had specifically requested FIFA's assistance for playing infrastructure.
