Ghana’s Sports and Recreation Minister-designate, Kofi Adams, has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to work through the National Sports Authority (NSA) when engaging with the Sports Ministry.

Adams stressed the need for proper oversight and accountability, insisting that the GFA should not bypass the NSA in its dealings.

He highlighted how, before Kwesi Nyantakyi’s tenure as GFA President, the government played a more active role in football administration, leading to success, including Ghana’s qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

As he awaits parliamentary approval, Adams aims to strengthen governance frameworks and improve collaboration between the GFA, NSA, and the Sports Ministry to enhance football management in Ghana.
