Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has a message for Asante Kotoko. He warns that the Ghana Premier League title race "is not over." His team trails by five points but remains determined.
Lions recently lost 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars. This defeat leaves them in third place with 40 points. Kotoko leads the league with 45 points, just ahead of Gold Stars at 44.
Bashir emphasized the importance of the remaining matches. "We have about ten matches left," he said after the game. "That means there are still 30 points available."
He believes this can change everything. "If someone is leading by five points, we shouldn't relax," he added.
"It is not over," he insisted. Even if a team leads by ten points, there's still hope to catch up.
Lions will face Kotoko next on April 6 at Kpando Stadium.
