GPL 2024/25: Bibiani GoldStars hold Asante Kotoko in goalless stalemate

Bibiani GoldStars and Asante Kotoko played to a goalless draw. This was in their Ghana Premier League Week 32 match. Neither team could score in a highly contested game.

Clear chances were rare throughout the match. However, the visitors showed more attacking intent.

GoldStars attacked early in the 5th minute. Henry Ansu quickly reacted and guided the ball out for a goal kick.

In the 68th minute, Peter Amidu nearly scored. He danced past his marker and fired a powerful shot that missed by inches.

Late in the game, GoldStars threatened again. But Asante Kotoko's goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara, made a brilliant save in the 83rd minute.

The result leaves GoldStars second on the league table with 57 points. Kotoko remains third with 55 points. Nations FC leads with 60 points.

Next, GoldStars will face Berekum Chelsea. Meanwhile, Kotoko will host Medeama SC in Week 33.
