Medeama S.C. has won two consecutive matches in the Ghana Premier League. However, head coach Ibrahim Tanko is not satisfied.

The team won 2-0 against Aduana Stars and 2-1 against Basake Holy Stars on Tuesday. After the match, Tanko shared his frustrations.

"We had many chances in the first half," he said. "We should have scored at least two or three goals. We kept our composure after Holy Stars scored first. In the second half, we tried to score again, but a penalty was denied."

Holy Stars surprised fans by taking the lead in the twenty-eighth minute. Issah Yakubu scored for them at T&A Stadium.

Medeama struggled to equalize but finally did so in stoppage time of the first half. Kamaradini Mamudu, a left back, scored to level the game.

In the second half, Medeama pushed for a lead but faced a strong Holy Stars defense. In the seventy-sixth minute, Tanko made key substitutions that changed the game.

He brought on Derrick Fordjour and Manuel Mantey for Richard Appiah and Godknows Dzakpasu. Near full time, Fordjour scored the winning goal.

Despite winning, Tanko expressed concerns about their performance overall. "I worry we didn't score more from our chances," he said. "I'm happy we created chances and hope we use them better next time."

He also noted they failed to keep a clean sheet. With this win, Medeama is now fourth with thirty-eight points, six behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.

Medeama will play Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
