GPL 24/25: Hearts stutter to another draw, as Vision F.C. smash and grab a point

Accra Hearts of Oak struggled again in the Ghana Premier League. They drew 1-1 with Vision F.C. on Sunday.

The match was mostly uneventful, aside from the two goals.

Hearts took the lead just before halftime. Kelvin Osei Asibey scored after a defensive error.

Vision F.C.'s goalkeeper misjudged a cross and missed it. His defenders were slow to react, allowing Osei-Asibey to score with his left foot.

After halftime, Vision F.C. attacked aggressively, testing Hearts' defense twice.

They equalized shortly after their offensive push. Raphael Amponsah of Hearts failed to clear the ball near the area.

Adjetey Sowah seized the opportunity and curled in a goal. It was beyond the reach of Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.

Despite chances for both teams, neither could find a winner before time ran out.

Hearts remain in 6th place with 41 points, six behind leaders Asante Kotoko.

Vision F.C. now has 29 points and is three points above relegation danger.
