Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has shared his thoughts. He discussed the differences between coaching Kotoko and Dreams FC.
Zito recently left Dreams FC to take over at Kotoko. This change followed the sacking of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum.
While at Dreams FC, Zito led the team to a 1-0 victory against Hearts of Oak. This match took place at the University of Ghana Stadium on March 15.
In his first game with Kotoko, Zito's team drew 0-0 with Hearts. He explained the difference in experience between leading these teams.
“The pedigree of Hearts of Oak and Kotoko is different,” he said. “I lose nothing if Hearts beat Dreams FC but I lose something if Hearts beat Kotoko.”
Kotoko’s draw keeps them in fourth place in the league standings. They are three points behind Nations FC, who won 1-0 against Accra Lions. Meanwhile, Bibiani Gold Stars lost 1-0 at home to Karela United.
