Nations Football Club's Brands Manager, Nana Boakye Ansah, spoke about the team's progress. He believes competing in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League is a learning experience. Nations FC aims to win the top division for the first time.
In an interview with Citi Sports, he noted that Nations leads the league standings. They have 54 points from 30 games. The team has won six out of their last seven matches.
Last season, Nations had a similar strong start but finished seventh. Ansah feels this season is different because they learned from past experiences.
“Last season was just a learning curve for us,” he said. “We had just come up from Division One and needed time.” He added that winning last season would have been a bonus.
This year, he believes they have implemented better strategies and mechanisms. “Whatever happened last season is behind us,” he stated confidently.
Nations FC head coach Kassim Mingle echoed these sentiments. He emphasized that they have the capacity and players to succeed in the league.
