Asante Kotoko stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a 1-1 draw against Heart of Lions at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Justice Blay gave Kotoko a first-half lead with a well-timed strike just before the break.
However, Heart of Lions responded swiftly, as Fawzi Ali equalized two minutes into the second half. Both teams created chances in an action-packed second half, but neither could find a winner.
Despite sharing the points, Kotoko retained their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League, now two points clear after Bibiani Gold Stars lost to Dreams FC.
The Porcupine Warriors remain strong title contenders as they prepare to host Bechem United next.
Heart of Lions stay third and will face Berekum Chelsea in their upcoming fixture.
