GPL: Nations FC sweep Monthly Awards ahead of Samartex Clash

Nations Football Club had a fantastic April in the Ghana Premier League. They received multiple awards for their performance. The team is currently leading the league. They will face defending champions FC Samartex 1996 on Sunday, May 25 at 15:00 GMT.

Rabin Ousmane Sanon was named Goalkeeper of the Month for April. He kept four clean sheets and conceded just one goal in five games. Kassim Ocansey Mingle won Coach of the Month after leading Nations to four wins in five matches.

Captain Razak Simpson earned the Goal of the Month Award. His long-range strike helped secure a win over Accra Hearts of Oak.

Congratulations to Rabin Ousmane Sanon! He won NASCO Goalkeeper of the Month for April. In five games, he had four clean sheets and only one goal conceded.

Simpson is also in contention for the Black Stars squad for the Unity Cup. This tournament takes place from May 28 to May 31 in London.

Kassim Mingle Ocansey also deserves congratulations for winning NASCO Coach of the Month. Under his guidance, Nations FC achieved four wins and conceded just one goal.

The Kumasi-based club's strong form has propelled them to first place in the league standings with 57 points. They lead second-ranked Bibiani Gold Stars by one point.

Emmanuel Mamah from FC Samartex was named Player of the Month for April.
