GPL WK27: Annor Walker’s prediction half-fulfilled as Vision FC hold Hearts in one-all draw

Vision FC's head technical director, Annor Walker, made a bold prediction. He claimed his team would score two goals in the first half against Accra Hearts of Oak. While that didn’t happen, the match ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw.

The Ghana Premier League Round 27 clash took place at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown. It showcased the grit and unpredictability of this season’s matches.

Hearts of Oak struck first. In the 38th minute, defender Kelvin Osei Asibey scored with a precise header from a set-piece. This gave Hearts a slim lead at halftime.

However, Vision FC was not finished yet. Just three minutes into the second half, Meschack Sowah Adjetey equalized with a composed finish after sustained pressure from his team.

Substitute Emmanuel Akansase almost put Vision ahead in the 60th minute. He made a powerful run and took a low shot that skimmed past the post, causing gasps from home fans.

In the end, both teams shared points in this fiercely contested match. Annor Walker’s pre-match prediction didn’t fully come true, but he left with more than just empty words—half right and half scathed.
