Kasim Ocansey Mingle, head coach of Nations Football Club, is confident. He believes his team is ready to win the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League title.
His comments came after Nations FC defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko 2-0. This victory keeps them in second place in the league standings.
With this win, Nations FC has now won five consecutive league games. This includes a notable victory against Accra Hearts of Oak away from home.
Nations FC is just two points behind the league leaders, Bibiani Gold Stars, who have 53 points. They are serious contenders for their first league title.
Mingle expressed his confidence: “We are ever ready to win the league.” He noted that all teams aim for the championship and no one participates just for fun.
“We’ve prepared for everything,” he added. “We know we can win and are also ready for Africa.”
Nations FC will face Berekum Chelsea on April 27.
