Vision FC Prepares for Match Against Kotoko
Vision Football Club's head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, is focused on the upcoming game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He emphasized that his team will take the match seriously. This comes despite Vision FC avoiding relegation from the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Nana Agyemang spoke at a pre-game press conference. The match is set for Sunday, June 8, at 15:00 GMT. It will take place at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
Kotoko needs a win to keep their GPL title hopes alive. Vision FC confirmed their safety in the previous round after Accra Lions lost to Dreams FC.
Currently, Vision FC ranks 11th in the league standings of 18 teams. Despite this, Agyemang insists they will approach the game with seriousness.
“There is no pressure on Vision at the moment,” he said. “We are safe from relegation but we need to take every game seriously.”
He added that this match should set a positive tone for next season. “We want people to know what Vision is about and what we plan to do,” he stated.
Kotoko currently sits third in the league with 58 points. They trail Nations FC and Bibiani Gold Stars, who both have 60 points.
