Gazzetta: Man City plot official bid for Juventus’s Cambiaso

Manchester City are reportedly preparing a €65 million bid for Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, with an official offer expected within two days.

Despite earlier reports suggesting the 24-year-old Italian international would remain in Turin, Pep Guardiola’s side is determined to secure the versatile defender. Juventus values Cambiaso internally at €80 million.

If Juventus sells Cambiaso, they plan to reinvest the funds in their defense, targeting players like David Hancko (Feyenoord), Lloyd Kelly (Newcastle), or Kevin Danso (RC Lens).

The January transfer window has been busy for Juventus, who recently signed Alberto Costa from Vitória Guimarães, are finalizing Randal Kolo Muani’s transfer from PSG, and expect to welcome Renato Veiga from Chelsea. Cambiaso’s potential departure would further fuel their defensive rebuild.
