Gerard Pique makes €1m bit that enrages Barcelona rivals

Former Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué has continued to taunt rival teams, with Espanyol being his latest target.

Ahead of the January Kings League event in Turin, Piqué released a video challenging Espanyol to a friendly match during the winter break, offering a €1 million prize. He jokingly claims they want to face a team of their level.

This stunt comes at a difficult time for Espanyol, who are struggling in 18th place in La Liga and fighting relegation.

The club's financial troubles have led to speculation that key players, like goalkeeper Joan García and right-back Omar El Hilali, may be sold next summer.
