Ghana's Ibrahim Sulemana scores classy goal to secure Champions League qualification for Atalanta BC

Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana came off the bench to score a crucial goal. His strike helped Atalanta BC win against AS Roma in Serie A on Monday night.

Sulemana's goal secured Atalanta's fifth qualification for the UEFA Champions League. They had already participated in this season's campaign.

Nigerian international Ademola Lookman scored first for Atalanta in the 9th minute. Bryan Cristante equalized for Roma in the 32nd minute.

With only two games left, Atalanta needed all three points to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Sulemana replaced Mario Pašalić before scoring his important goal.

The 21-year-old netted a spectacular goal in the 76th minute, leading to a 2-1 victory. So far, Sulemana has made seven appearances in Serie A this season.
