Ghana Basketball: I expect Spintex Knights to beat Nungua Coldstore- Dr. Opoku-Antwi

Co-Founder of Spintex Basketball Club, Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi, expects his team to win. They are set to face rivals Nungua Coldstore in the Accra Basketball League (ABL). The game is scheduled for 18:00 GMT at El-Wak Stadium on Saturday, May 17.

Both teams began in the Tema Community Basketball League before joining ABL. Dr. Opoku-Antwi describes their rivalry as “healthy.” Last year, Knights defeated Coldstore in the finals to win their second consecutive league title.

Dr. Opoku-Antwi believes another victory is possible this Saturday. He stated, “I want to win and I believe that Spintex Knights will come out with the W.”

Last year's championship followed Spintex's debut in the Basketball Africa League. They became the first Ghanaian team to advance from the preliminary stage.
