Ghana Coach Criticises CAF for Pairing Black Stars with Nigeria in CHAN Qualifiers

The Black Galaxies were eliminated from the CHAN qualifiers after a 3-1 loss to Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team in the second leg, following a goalless draw in the first leg.

Nigeria's first-half goals from Sodiq Akinola Ismaila, Junior Harrison Nduka, and Saviour Johnson Isaac sealed the win.

Coach Dramani acknowledged Nigeria's superior energy and hunger, noting that Ghana's mistakes cost them the match.

He criticized CAF for pitting two of Africa’s top teams against each other so early in the qualifiers, calling for a format change to improve competition.

Despite the defeat, Dramani remains hopeful, viewing failure as an opportunity to reflect and improve.
