Kurt Okraku is the president of the Ghana Football Association. He has rated the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season highly. He believes it has been good due to intense competition.
The race for the title is fierce this year. Bibiani Goldstars, Nations FC, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, Samartex, and Hearts of Oak are all contenders. Meanwhile, several clubs are fighting against relegation.
Aduana FC, Basake Holy Stars, Young Apostles, Vision FC, Accra Lions, Karela United, and Legon Cities are in danger. They are battling to avoid dropping out of the league.
Okraku spoke to Original FM about the season's competitiveness. He expressed satisfaction with the level of play in Ghana’s top-flight league. “It's been a good season,” he said.
He acknowledged both positive and negative aspects but remains optimistic. The battle for the Premier League title has been immense. The relegation fight has also been interesting.
With five games left in the campaign, Okraku hopes for a deserving champion.
