Ghana Premier League Ghana Premier League

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is eager for top-flight clubs to move forward with implementing the Autonomous Premier League.

The league has already been registered as a company under Ghanaian law, with its bank accounts opened by the Implementation Committee, led by His Majesty Togbe Afede XIV.

The GFA has handed over control to the Premier League clubs, with each club expected to appoint a board representative.

Initiated by GFA President Kurt Okraku and backed by the Executive Council, the league aims to transform Ghanaian football.

Meanwhile, the GFA will meet with Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on February 17 to discuss security-related proposals for the Premier League, as part of ongoing efforts to improve matchday safety and governance.
